Malta (1973 SG 512) Guiseppe Barth.

Giuseppi Barth (1745 - 1818) was an anatomist born in Malta. He was also an ophthalmologist.  He was appointed professor of the Ophthalmological School in Vienna by  Empress Maria Theresa. Among his patients was Empress Maria Theresa's son, the future Joseph II. He was given the title of Imperial Councillor and Oculist to His Majesty.
