Full thickness upper lid reconstruction

aUp to 25% defect of the horizontal dimension (Figure 1a) can be closed directly (Figure 1b).

During tumour excision, it is important to perform a penton-shaped excision to include the whole vertical height of the tarsal plate (as in the lower lid) to avoid notching of the lid margin (see figure below)
