Sebaceous cyst
A 28 year old man had had this left upper lid lesion for the past 3 year. The lesion grew with time causing social embarrassment and mild ptosis. The cyst was removed by carefully freeing it from the surrounding tissue. Spillage of the content and incomplete excision can cause chronic inflammation due to spillage of the content.

Left upper lid lesion measuring 21 mm in diameter horizontally.

The lesion was dissected free from the surrounding tissue taking care not to
rupture its wall.

The cyst was well-encapsulated.

The content was made up of cheesy materials.
