Ptosis in a contact lens wearer

This 68 year-old man presented with a left ptosis of the levator disinsertion type. He had bilateral congenital cataract and the left cataract was extracted 30 year ago leaving him aphakic. He wears a gas permeable contact lens which giives him a 6/6 (20/20) vision.
The tarsal conjunctiva was normal. Contact lens can cause either through chronic conjunctivitis or levator disinsertion.
